Kiekhaefer Places Ninth at NCAA Championships

(WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.) - Senior Erin Kiekhaefer (Palo Alto, Calif./Palo Alto) of the Carnegie Mellon University women's track and field team competed in the finals of the mile run at the 2015 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday, March 14. The championships are being held at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, with Roanoke College serving as the official host.

After posting her second career-best time during the prelims, Kiekhaefer advanced to the finals on Saturday where she finished ninth with a time of 5:09.32.  The senior ends her collegiate indoor career holding the school record in the mile with a time of 5:03.48.
