Track and Field Competes at RMU Invitational

(MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa.) - Members of the Carnegie Mellon University women's track and field team competed at the Robert Morris University Invitational Saturday.

Graduate student Joanna Baranowski (Syosset, N.Y. / Syosset) ran to two season-best times on the afternoon. She placed second in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:07.45 after turning in a time of 16.50 in the 100-meter hurdles.

Junior Kristen Seballos (Cleveland, Ohio / Padua Franciscan) ran a personal-best time in the 1,500-meter run and placed fourth with a time of 4:45.98. Junior Taylor Jacobs (Bozeman, Mont. / The Taft School) placed third in the 800-meter race with a time of 2:21:49.

Senior Ally Tully (Chappaqua, N.Y. / Horace Greeley) placed fifth in the hammer throw with a mark of 37.66 meters.

The Tartans will travel to Slippery Rock University on Thursday, April 22.
