Noneman Receives Second Straight UAA Weekly Honor

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Graduate student Kendra Noneman (Eagle, Idaho / Eagle) of the Carnegie Mellon University women's outdoor track and field team was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Athlete of the Week for field events, marking her second straight honor, following her performance at the CMU annual Invitational on Friday and Saturday with teams from Division I, II and III institutions.

For the second straight meet, Noneman set a new school record in the hammer throw. She won the event with a personal-best toss of 60.15 meters. Noneman tops her school record mark of 55.42 meters set last weekend at the Washington and Lee Track and Field Carnival. She is now the seventh best female hammer thrower in Division III history and her mark currently ranks first in Division III this season.

The Tartans will next compete at the Dave Labor Invitational hosted by Slippery Rock University on Saturday, April 2.
