(CLEVELAND, Ohio) - The Carnegie Mellon University volleyball team continued University Athletic Association (UAA) action on Sunday, October 12 with two matches at Case Western Reserve University. They opened the day with a 3-0 victory against the University of Rochester before falling 3-1 to 10th-ranked Washington University in St. Louis. The Tartans are now 17=6 for the year and 3-2 in the UAA.
Inside the Box Score vs. Rochester
- The Tartans won by set scores of 25-23, 25-19, and 25-11 and hit better than .340 in each set for a final hitting percentage of .357.
- The Tartans combined for 11 total blocks with seniors Julianna McFarland and Elizabeth Schlemmer each collecting three block assists.
- Schlemmer led the attack with 11 kills while hitting .450.
- Junior Neha Tummala collected 20 assists.
