Levine Honored by UAA for Weekly Performance

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Carnegie Mellon University women's cross country senior Abigail Levine (Bethesda, Md./Bethesda Chevy Chase) was named the University Athletic Association (UAA) Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week for her performance at the Lehigh University Paul Short Invitational on Saturday, October 5.

Levine earns her first honor of the year after finishing the 6k course in 21 minutes and 46 seconds to take 20th place in the brown race among Division I, II, and III runners. The 20th-ranked Tartans finished 22nd out of 44 teams.

The Tartans next race at their home invitational on Saturday, October 12. The Carnegie Mellon Hampton Inn Pittsburgh – University/Medical Center Invitational is set to begin at 11:00 a.m. in Schenley Park.
