As founder/CEO of The Customer Experience Unleashed!, Shauna C. Grovell helps companies, nonprofit organizations, government entities, and institutions of learning improve their internal/external customer experience. Shauna’s consulting firm provides guidance to executives and employees in the areas of organizational effectiveness, operational excellence, human resources, employee/customer engagement, strategy development, inclusion/diversity, leadership development and employee communications. Some of her past clients include AT&T, Georgia Perimeter College, and the NYPD’s Washington Heights Precinct. Shauna is asked to speak nation-wide at conferences conducted by organizations including Ragan Communications, the American Strategic Management Institute and the Advanced Learning Institute.

Prior to starting her own firm, Shauna worked as an executive in three Fortune 500 companies.  She joined Walmart in 2007 as a customer experience leader, managing over 30 front-end vendors. In addition, she created Walmart’s first financial literacy program for its US Walmart store customers and its 1.1 million Associates in conjunction with piloting Walmart’s first customer mobile coupon application. In 2006, Shauna became vice president of customer relations for the New Mexico division of Pulte Homes, leading the divisions’ charge to win their first JD Power & Associates Award. Shauna started her business career at BellSouth, where she progressively moved through the ranks ultimately serving as an assistant vice president for BellSouth Small Business Services, where she led a team of over 650+ employees and was recognized three consecutive years for having the number one sales, service and overall P&L team.  

Shauna is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied History.  She received her Master of Arts degree in Higher Educational Administration & Organizational Development from The George Washington University.  Believing in the strength of education and giving back to the community, Shauna has remained an active alumna with Carnegie Mellon University - serving as a past president of the Atlanta Alumni Association. In addition, Shauna has volunteered/conducted seminars at various schools around the nation including the Alexandria Head Start program (Virginia), Central High School (Maryland), and currently serves as co-chair for the Woodward Academy Theatre Community (Georgia).

Shauna resides in Atlanta, GA, where she has been honored twice for her business accomplishments in the publication Who’s Who in Black Atlanta.
