Sriya Mupparaju - Women's Golf

Freshman Sriya Mupparaju of the Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team claimed individual medalist honors at the 36-hole Montgomery Country Club Women's Intercollegiate on the par-72, 5,632-yard Montgomery Country Club course. In her first collegiate event, Mupparaju broke the lowest individual 36-hole total in the program's history by eight strokes with a six-under par 138 (70-68). She carded 10 birdies for the tournament and shot a four-under 68 in the final round which is the third lowest 18-hole round for a Tartan.
