Jack Stone - Men's Basketball

Junior Jack Stone of the Carnegie Mellon University men's basketball team guided the Tartans to a 2-0 UAA record over the weekend with a 66-60 win over Chicago Friday night before topping #22 WashU 71-58 Sunday afternoon. In the victory over Chicago, Stone scored 15 points and recorded a career-best five steals. The junior then followed with 18 points on 6-of-9 from the floor, including 4-of-6 from behind the arc, in Tartans win over WashU. Over the two games, Stone shot 54.5% (12-22) from the field, 66.7% (6-9) from long range and averaged 16.5 points.
