Savannah Xu - Women's Swimming and Diving

Freshman Savannah Xu won two events for the Tartans and was part of two winning relays, as the Carnegie Mellon University women's swimming and diving team topped Gettysburg, 187-75, on Saturday, November 5 in its second meet of the season. Xu swam two new events, winning the 100-yard butterfly in 56.86, which is sixth-best in the nation. The first-year swimmer also won the 200-yard freestyle in a season team-best time of 1:55.69. Xu led off the 200-yard freestyle relay which set a season-best time of 1:37.31 in the last race of the meet and swam the butterfly leg of the 200-yard medley relay which touched first in 1:49.24.
