Robert Coury - Football

Senior Robert Coury of the now 14th-ranked Carnegie Mellon University football team led a Tartans defense in a 41-10 victory over Waynesburg University Saturday afternoon. The senior played a huge part in holding Waynesburg to 191 yards total and allowing only 71 on the ground. Coury notched a team-high 11 tackles with 2.5 for a loss and recorded a half sack. His 11 tackles marked the 10th career game recording double digit tackles. He ranks seventh in program history with 229 tackles for his career and needs four more to move into sixth, seven for fifth and 18 for fourth.
