Molly McCracken joined the Carnegie Mellon University Department of Athletics as the Tepper Fitness Center Manager in January 2022. She is responsible for our student employees and development as well as management and oversight for the athletic facilities. McCracken is familiar with Carnegie Mellon's fitness department as she has been a fitness instructor and personal trainer for the Tartans community since 2016.
Prior to taking the full-time role for Carnegie Mellon, McCracken served as the Athletics Director at Oakland Catholic High School from 2018-2021 after being promoted from Assistant Athletics Director for the Eagles, a position she held for two years.
McCracken is a certified personal trainer through ACSM, group exercise certified and total body conditioning through NETA, and is certified through Beachbody in TurboKickboxing. She earned her B.S. degree in kinesiology from Pennsylvania State University and her M.S. degree in Sports Management from California University of Pennsylvania.
