Bio

Jess Wingen started as the Coordinator of Fitness Facilities and Marketing on August 1, 2018. She works closely with the student desk attendants to ensure a great experience for each patron of the Cohon Center fitness facilities. Additionally, Jess will oversee efforts to market and promote the recreation and fitness programs offered at Carnegie Mellon.

Prior to CMU Jess was the Graduate Assistant for Club Sports at Old Dominion University where she earned a master of Physical Education with a concentration in Sports Management. Jess was a four year letter winner on the women’s basketball team at the College of Wooster while earning a bachelor of arts in Anthropology.

As a Pittsburgh native with life-long connections to Carnegie Mellon, Jess is looking forward to making a positive impact on campus.
