2023 DICKINSON LONG-SHORT INVITATIONAL

Course:	The course is located at Big Spring High School on Mt. Rock Road in Newville, Pa. The surface is a combination of grass and dirt trails and suitable for racing flats or short spikes.
Course Preview:	Practice access to the course is limited to Friday, September 22nd and the day of competition Saturday, September 23rd weather permitting. Practice on Friday will be from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm and 3:15 pm to 5:30 pm. The course will then open open again on Saturday at 9:00 am. No one is permitted on the school grounds on Friday from 2:00 pm to 3:15 pm!
Entries:	To see a list of participating teams and to add your name to the list click here. Please submit entries no later than 11:59 pm on Monday, September 18th.  Unlimited Entries. Team entry fee is $300.00 per team or $25.00 for individuals. Please make checks payable to Dickinson College and mailed to: Don Nichter Dickinson Athletics PO Box 1773 Carlisle, Pa. 17013 Please complete the entry form on Direct Athletics.
Numbers:	Race numbers must be pinned to the front of the singlet.
Athletic Trainers:	Dickinson College will have athletic trainers available beginning at 9:00 am.
Splits:	Will be given at the 1 and 2 mile marks.
Drink:	Water will be available at the meet site.
Scoring:	The top 3 finishers and two displacers will determine the team score in each of the races. Pre-race designation of race entry is not necessary.The overall team scoring will be determined by the combined team scores from the Long and Short team scores.
Awards:	The Top-3 teams in the overall combined scoring will receive a team plaque. The overall first-place team for each gender will have medals awarded to the individual participants.  The top team in each of the Long and Short races will receive a team plaque and individual medals. The Top-15 individuals in each race will receive an award medal. The Top individual in each race will receive a trophy.
Results:	Official results and team trophies will be awarded 30 minutes after the final race. Will also be made available on 2Lraceservices.com
Restrooms:	Will be available at the course inside the high school building and at the starting area.
Parking:	Parking is available for team buses and vans in designated parking near the start-finish area. Spectators will park in a separate lot.
Packets:	Packets will be available for pick-up at the tent located near the finish line starting at Saturday morning beginning at 9:00 am.
