(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) – The Carnegie Mellon University football team will conclude its six game 2012 home schedule Saturday, November 3, as the University of Chicago travels to Pittsburgh for the University Athletic Association (UAA) match-up.  The Tartans will enter the contest with a 5-3, 0-1 UAA record, as the Maroons are 4-4, 0-1.

The series between Carnegie Mellon and Chicago started in 1988 when the UAA was formed.  The Tartans hold a 19-5 advantage and have won four of the last six meetings.  Last season, the Tartans went into the Windy City and recorded their 500th win in program history with a 28-13 victory over the Maroons.  Carnegie Mellon holds the longest winning streak between the two teams at 10 games, which started the series.

Last week, the Cardinal and Gray dropped a 15-3 decision at Washington University while the Maroons entertained the Spartans of Case Western Reserve University and fell 28-15.

Carnegie Mellon will look to put a stop to its two game skid when the teams take the field on Saturday for a 12:00 p.m. kick.
