(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) – Coming off a 34-7 victory at Saint Vincent College this past Saturday, the Carnegie Mellon University football team will travel to New Wilmington, Pennsylvania on Saturday, October 12 to play the Titans of Westminster College.    

The Tartans will collide with the Titans on Saturday for the first time since 2006 when Carnegie Mellon defeated Westminster 33-6 in Pittsburgh.  Prior to then, the teams last met in 1971. Westminster leads the series 16-15-1 and during the stretch there have been 18 shutouts with the Tartans having the edge with 11.

Westminster enters the game with a 1-3 slate after dropping a devastating 24-21 decision at Grove City last Saturday. Carnegie Mellon, who is 3-2 overall, will look to win its third straight contest when the teams kickoff at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Harold Burry Stadium on the campus of Westminster.
