Football Heads to Windy City for UAA Contest

(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) – The Carnegie Mellon University football team will travel to Chicago, Illinois, on Saturday, November 5 to play the Maroons of the University of Chicago in University Athletic Association (UAA) action.  The Tartans will look for their fourth straight win this season and first victory in the Windy City since 2011.

The series between Carnegie Mellon and Chicago started in 1988.  The Tartans hold a 21-7 advantage as well as the longest winning streak between the two teams at 10 games, which started the series. Last season, the Tartans topped the Maroons, 28-7, in Pittsburgh, but have dropped the last two meetings in Chicago.

The Tartans will enter the game with a 5-3, 0-1 UAA record, as the Maroons are 4-4, 0-1. Kick is set for 12:00 p.m. CST at Stagg Field.
