Tartan Football Announces 2023 Incoming Class
(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) – Carnegie Mellon University second-year Head Football Coach Ryan Larsen has announced the Tartans 2023 recruiting class. The Tartans will welcome 34 newcomers that hail from 15 different states.
"We could not be more excited to welcome these young men to Carnegie Mellon University! This group is talented academically and athletically and will bring a positive impact to our campus community, both on and off the field," said Larsen. "I want to thank our football staff, administration, and admission department for all of the hard work and partnership that went into yielding such an impressive class. When you combine these young men with our returning players on the roster, the excitement is palpable for the 2023 season!"
The Tartans will open the 2023 season on Saturday, September 2, at Geneva College. Kick is set for 7:30 p.m. in Bever Falls, Pennsylvania.
