Bio

Sean Pogorelc begins his first year on the Carnegie Mellon staff in 2022 following his playing career as a Tartan from 2017-21. He will help coach the tight ends.

Pogorelc was a two-year captain and appeared in 40 games throughout his career at offensive guard with 29 starts. He is a three-time first team Presidents’ Athletic Conference honoree, two-time CoSIDA Academic All-District member, has twice been named to the D3football.com All-Region team and was named a D3football.com All-American following the 2021 spring season.

Pogorelc earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical and computer engineering in 2020 and is currently enrolled in the graduate program at Carnegie Mellon's College of Engineering, pursuing a master's degree in electrical and computer engineering.
