Will Fleming joined the coaching staff as a Student Assistant after his playing career was cut short by an injury following his freshman season. Fleming role on staff is charting statistics both in practice and in games, and video analysis.
 
Fleming appeared in eight games as a freshman for the Cardinal and Gray. He totaled 11 points with four coming against nationally ranked University of Rochester and recorded three rebounds on two different occasions.
