Pak Garners UAA Athlete of the Week Honor

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Freshman James Pak (Palisades Park, N.J./Bergen Catholic) of the Carnegie Mellon University men's golf team was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Men's Golf Athlete of the Week following his performance at the Carnegie Mellon Fall Shootout. Pak helped the Tartans 'B' Team to a fourth-place showing at the 14-team event.

In his first collegiate event, Pak carded a 36-hole score of 141 on the par-70 course at The Links at Spring Church. He led all Tartan golfers with a one-over par 141. In his opening round, he carded a 71 before firing even par on Sunday afternoon.
