#8 Tartans Open UAA Play with Setback to NYU

The eighth-ranked Carnegie Mellon University men’s soccer team hosted New York University for the first University Athletic Association (UAA) contest of the season, falling 2-0 to the Violets after putting seven shots on goal. The Tartans are now 8-1-1 for the year, as the Violets improve to 4-3-1.

The eighth-ranked Carnegie Mellon University men’s soccer team continued its undefeated season at home with a 5-2 victory against Juniata College on Wednesday, September 28.  The Tartans are now 8-0-1 for the season while the Eagles move to 6-4.

The eighth-ranked Carnegie Mellon University men’s soccer team traveled to Ohio Northern University and battled the Polar Bears to a 1-1 draw. The Tartans are now 7-0-1 for the season while the Polar Bears are 5-2-1.

Baugh Scores First of Season to Lead Tartans to 3-0 Road Win

The eighth-ranked Carnegie Mellon University men’s soccer team traveled to Mount Aloysius College for a mid-week game on Wednesday, September 21. The Tartans earned another shutout, the fifth of the season, with a 3-0 victory with three different goal scorers to move to 7-0 for the year. The Mounties drop to 2-5-1.

Ross Macklin Hired as Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach

Carnegie Mellon University men’s soccer head coach Brandon Bowman is excited to announce the hiring of Ross Macklin as an assistant coach for the men’s soccer program. Macklin joins Bowman’s staff to continue an 11-year coaching career that spans work at the club, Division III, and international levels.
