Player Thoughts

"Muskingum did well defensively to get numbers behind the ball, which made it difficult for us to break them down and score," said Edmunds. "I thought we showed a lot of character, showed the depth of our team, and closed the game with a well-earned victory."

"On my goal, I picked the ball up out wide, played it inside to Alejandro who played me a through ball into the box. After getting on the end of Ale's through ball I hit the ball low and hard at the near post, and it caught the goalkeeper off guard, deflecting off of him and into the goal. It was a great feeling to break the deadlock and I'm so happy for Ale to pick up his first point for CMU."
