Kyle Named UAA Diver of the Week

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) - Carnegie Mellon University senior Jud Kyle was named the University Athletic Association (UAA) Men's Diver of the Week for his performance during the CMU Diving Invitational. The honor is the first of the season for Kyle.

The recognition comes to Kyle for having top scores on both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving boards against 15 other competitors. Kyle set a new pool record on the 3-meter with a score of 563.80 points and hit 491.55 points on the 1-meter board. Both scores surpass the NCAA qualifying standards, something Kyle has done on the 3-meter board three times and the 1-meter board twice this season.
