As part of the 25th anniversary celebration of the University Athletic Association (UAA), the Carnegie Mellon University Department of Athletics is honored to announce the school’s all-time UAA men's tennis team.

Junior Duke Miller (Poway, Calif./Poway) and freshman Will Duncan (Newbury Park, Calif./Newbury Park) of the Carnegie Mellon University men’s tennis team earned All-America distinction from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) when it announced its All-America teams for 2012. The pair earned recognition for their performance as a doubles team which culminated at the NCAA Championships.

Carnegie Mellon University junior Duke Miller (Poway, Calif./Poway) and freshman Will Duncan (Newbury Park, Calif./Newbury Park) competed at the 2012 NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Championships on Thursday, May 24 with Miller competing in singles play and alongside Duncan in doubles play. It was the first trip to the NCAA Championships for both men's tennis players.

When the NCAA Division III Men’s Tennis Committee selected individuals and doubles teams to compete in the 2012 NCAA Division III Men’s Tennis Championships, Carnegie Mellon University found two of its athletes on the list. Junior Duke Miller (Poway, Calif./Poway) was selected to play in the singles competition and will be joined by freshman Will Duncan (Newbury Park, Calif./Newbury Park) to partake in the doubles field.

Four members of the Carnegie Mellon University men's tennis team earned a place on the first team All-University Athletic Association (UAA) sqaud following the 2012 UAA Championship which was played last weekend. Juniors Duke Miller (Poway, Calif./Poway) and Joohu Yu (Northbrook, Ill./Glenbrook North) along with first years Will Duncan (Newbury Park, Calif./Newbury Park) and Thomas Cooper (Albuquerque, N.M./Albuquerque Academy) were selected to the team by the Association's coaches.

The Carnegie Mellon University men's tennis team lost to #21 Case Western Reserve University Saturday, April 28 in the third-place match of the University Athletic Association Championship by the score of 6-3. The match was played at Sanlando Park in Altamonte Springs, Fla., as the Tartans move their record to 13-8.

The 13th-ranked Carnegie Mellon University men’s tennis team fell to #17 Washington University 5-4 in the semifinals of the 2012 University Athletic Association Championships Friday, April 27. The championships this season are being played at Sanlando Park in Altamonte Springs, Fla. The Tartans are now 13-7 while the Bears improve to 15-5.

The 13th-ranked Carnegie Mellon University men’s tennis team advanced to the semifinals of the University Athletic Association Championships with a 5-4 victory over New York University Thursday, April 26 at Sanlando Park in Altamonte Springs, Fla. The wins moves the Tartans record to 13-5 while NYU is now 9-6.

The Carnegie Mellon University men's tennis team entertained #16 Johns Hopkins University Sunday afternoon April 15. The #13 Tartans dropped an 8-1 decision to the Blue Jays moving their record to 12-6 while Johns Hopkins is now 11-4.

The Carnegie Mellon University men's tennis team, ranked 13th nationally, traveled to Granville, Ohio Saturday, April 14 to play #29 Denison University. The Tartans came away with a 5-4 victory to improve their record to 12-5 while the Big Red are now 11-3.

The Carnegie Mellon University men's tennis, ranked 13th nationally, traveled to Grove City College Thursday afternoon, April 12. The Cardinal and Gray handed the Wolverines a 9-0 setback while improving their dual record to 11-5 while Grove City moves to 7-2.

Duncan went 4-0 as the Tartans defeated #19 Washington & Lee University 6-3 Saturday before dropping a hard fought 5-4 match to #4 Kenyon College Sunday afternoon.

The win marked the third straight over a ranked foe for the Tartans and their fourth straight, as they improve to 10-4 while Washington and Lee is now 11-4.
