The 27th-ranked Carnegie Mellon University men's tennis team opened University Athletic Association (UAA) play on Friday at Sanlando Park in Altamonte Springs, Florida, and dropped a 5-1 match to 12th-ranked Washington University in St. Louis. The Tartans record is now 6-10 as the Bears move to 11-9.

The Carnegie Mellon University men’s tennis team, ranked 25th in Division III, entertained fourth-ranked Case Western Reserve University Saturday afternoon in Pittsburgh. The Tartans dropped a 6-3 decision and are now 6-9 on the season in dual match play while the Spartans move to 23-4.

The match went down to the last singles match with Southwestern earning a 5-4 victory. The Tartans are now 3-6 for the season while Southwestern moves to 5-0.
