Indoor Track and Field Receives 26 USTFCCCA All-Region Honors

(NEW ORLEANS, La.) – The Carnegie Mellon University men's and women's track and field teams had 26 Mideast All-Region honors awarded to its athletes by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for the 2019 indoor track and field season. There are 21 representing the men while five represent the women with five receiving multiple honors.

To be named All-Region, an athlete must either be ranked in the top-five of an individual event in the region according to final TFRRS data or be part of a top-three relay team. A total of 786 men and 804 women were selected from the eight regions in NCAA Division III. The organization first began recognizing All-Region award winners in 2016.
