Miller Named ECAC South Field Athlete of the Month for March

(DANBURY, Mass.) – Sophomore Bram Miller (Colgate, Wis./Kettle Moraine Lutheran) of the Carnegie Mellon University men's outdoor track and field team was named Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Field Athlete of the Month for the month of March.

Miller was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Athlete of the Week twice in March for field events. The sophomore has season-best marks of 16.14 meters in the shot put and 49.78 meters in the discus throw which are tops in the UAA and rank fourth and fifth in Division III. His mark of 49.78 meters in the discus throw is also a school record.

The Tartans will travel to the Dave Labor Invitational on Saturday, April 6 hosted by Slippery Rock University.
