Mitchell Ends Career Running at NCAA Championships

(GENEVA, Ohio) - Senior Will Mitchell (Chatham, N.J. / Chatham) of the Carnegie Mellon University men's track and field team competed at the 2019 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday. The three-day event was hosted at SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio, with the University of Mount Union and Greater Cleveland Sports Commission co-hosting.

Mitchell competed in the 10,000-meter run after qualifying for the event with a career-best time which he recorded at the Swarthmore Final Qualifier Meet earlier this month. The senior posted a time of 15:47.63 to place 19th. Mitchell also competed at the indoor championships in March where he placed 12th in the 3,000-meter run.
