Carnegie Mellon Outdoor Track and Field Garners 17 USTFCCCA All-Region Honors

(NEW ORLEANS, La.) – The Carnegie Mellon University men's and women's track and field teams had 17 Mideast All-Region honors awarded to its athletes by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for the 2019 outdoor track and field season. Thirteen represent the men while four represent the women with two men receiving multiple honors.

To be named All-Region, an athlete must either be ranked in the top-five of an individual event in the region according to final TFRRS data or be part of a top-three relay team. A total of 951 men and 964 women were selected from the eight regions in NCAA Division III. The organization first began recognizing All-Region award winners in 2016.
