Miller Honored by UAA

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Graduate student Bram Miller (Colgate, Wis./Kettle Moraine Lutheran) of the Carnegie Mellon University men's indoor track and field team was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Athlete of the Week for field events following his performance at the 2021 Youngstown State Icebreaker on Friday against Division I, II and III institutions.

Miller set the school record in the shot put with a toss of 17.00 meters which placed second at the event in a field of 38 competitors. His toss surpassed James Hulley's mark of 16.47m set in 2009. The school record for Miller is currently first in the nation by 1.42 meters.

The Tartans will be idle until January 21 when the compete at the Youngstown State University Collegiate Invitational.
