Miller Garners Second UAA Weekly Honor

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Graduate student Bram Miller (Colgate, Wis./Kettle Moraine Lutheran) of the Carnegie Mellon University men's indoor track and field team was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Athlete of the Week for field events following his performance at the 13th Annual Battle for the Obelisk versus Case Western Reserve University this past Saturday.

Miller helped the Tartans win the event for the fifth straight time. He led the sweep in the shot put for the Cardinal and Gray, as he won the event breaking his previous school record on 17.00 meters set earlier this season with a toss of 17.15 meters. Miller's mark is currently tops in the UAA and second nationally.

The Tartans will compete at the Roanoke Invitational Challenge on Saturday, February 12.
