Miller Earns First UAA Outdoor Weekly Honor and Fourth Overall

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Graduate student Bram Miller (Colgate, Wis./Kettle Moraine Lutheran) of the Carnegie Mellon University men's outdoor track and field team was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Athlete of the Week for field events following his performance at the CMU annual Invitational on Friday and Saturday with teams from Division I, II and III institutions. This marks Miller's first weekly accolade for the outdoor season and fourth this year including the indoor season.

Miller won the shot put and discus, as he had a throw of 17.67 meters in the shot and 51.38 meters in the discus in his first meet of the outdoor season. He is currently ranked tops in Division III in both events.

The Tartans will next compete at the Dave Labor Invitational hosted by Slippery Rock University on Saturday, April 2.
