Softball Opener Postponed, Rescheduled for March 24

(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) - The 2020 season opener for the Carnegie Mellon University softball team scheduled for this afternoon has been postponed. The Tartans were scheduled to play Washington & Jefferson College at 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. but rain has forced the games to be postponed. The two teams will now meet on Tuesday, March 24 for a doubleheader beginning at 3:00 p.m. The games will be played at the Tartans home ballpark of UPMC All-American Park in Trafford, Pennsylvania.

The Tartans will now open the program's second season in Clermont, Florida, on Saturday, March 7 with games against Elizabethtown College and Cornell College starting at 9:00 a.m.
