(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) – The Carnegie Mellon University softball program will be hosting two one-day prospect camps on Saturday, October 16 and Sunday, October 17. The Tartans earned their first regional ranking in 2021 after finishing the season with a 15-6-1 record, the second winning season in the history of the three-year program.

Each prospect camp will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the campus of Carnegie Mellon University.

The one-day camp is intended for student-athletes interested in attending and playing softball for Carnegie Mellon to learn more about the opportunity and overall experience of a Division III student-athlete. The camp will cover all parts of the game, from everyday drills to position specific workouts. Head coach Monica Harrison will also provide an introduction into the fundamentals of her offensive game which focuses on hitting, bunting, and slapping.

Attendees will participate in collegiate level drills designed to simulate the environment that players experience throughout a collegiate season while having the opportunity to gain feedback and be evaluated by the staff.

Coach Harrison will also lead a campus tour during the day.

Register for the camp. There are limited spaces available and registration must be in by September 30.
