Hoskins Wins Grove City Spring Invitational; Team Ends First Season with Sixth Tournament Victory

The Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team concluded its first season competing as an NCAA member on Monday, April 20 at the Grove City Spring Invitational. The Tartans claimed their sixth team victory of the season after carding a 344 on the Grove City Country Club par-72 course.

The Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team won carded a season-low team round of 326 on Tuesday, April 14 to win the Saint Vincent Invitational held at the par 70 Glengarry Golf Links. The win marked the Tartans second straight team victory and fifth this season.

The Tartans placed first out of eight teams after firing a team score of 370. The team victory marked the fourth this year for the Tartans.

Round two of the 36-hole event was played at the par-72 New Albany Links in New Albany, Ohio following play Thursday on the par-72 Royal American Links in Galena, Ohio.
