Susanto Named UAA Women’s Golfer of the Week

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Sophomore Nadia Susanto (Irvine, Calif./Arnold O. Beckman) of the Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Women's Golf Athlete of the Week following her play at the Savannah Invitational.

Susanto led the Tartans, the nation's top ranked team, to a first-place finish at the Savannah Invitational on the par 72, 5,800-yard Savannah Quarters Country Club. The sophomore claimed individual medalist honors in a field of 79 golfers, as she carded a 36-hole score of 149. Susanto opened play with a 74 and then carded a 75 in the final round to win the invitational.

Susanto's medalist honor was the first of her collegiate career.
