Sudjianto Matches Season-Low Round at Jekyll Island Collegiate

(JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga.) – The Carnegie Mellon University women's golf competed at the second round of the 54-hole Jekyll Island Women's Collegiate at the Indian Mounds Golf Club in Jekyll Island, Georgia, on Saturday. The Tartans fired a team score of 300 and are tied for fifth after 36-holes of play with a two-round total of 599 (299-300). The three-day event is being played on the par-72, 5,600-yard Indian Mounds Golf Club on Jekyll Island with the field comprised of 24 teams.

Junior Alexis Sudjianto (Charlotte, N.C./Charlotte Latin School) ended play Saturday with one-under par 71, matching a season-best round, to go along with her opening round score of one-over par 73. The junior is tied for fourth individually in a field of 120 golfers with an even par 144 heading into the final round.

Senior Nadia Susanto (Irvine, Calif./Arnold O. Beckman) fired a three-over par 75 Saturday and has a 36-hole score of 147 (72-75). Freshman Kaylin Yeoh (Potomac, Md./Winston Churchill) entered the clubhouse with a two-over par 74 and has a 151 (77-74).

Freshman Sriya Mupparaju (San Diego, Calif./Del Norte) shot 80 and has a 155 (75-80) while sophomore Denise Pan (Houston, Texas/St. John's School) will enter the final round with a 161 after carding an 82 Saturday.

The final round will be held Sunday, March 20, with the first group teeing off at 8:00 a.m.
