Savina Reid Receives Prestigious NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship

Carnegie Mellon University senior Savina Reid (Briarcliff Manor, N.Y./Briarcliff) has been awarded an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship. A four-year standout for the women’s soccer program, Reid will receive a one-time, nonrenewable grant of $7,500 to be used for part-time or full-time postgraduate study at a university or professional school.
ECAC Honors Three Women Soccer Players on First Team

The Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) recently announced its annual All-Star teams with three Carnegie Mellon University women's soccer players earning a spot on the South team. All three honorees picked up a first-team selection.
Reid Garners All-America Honors from NSCAA, Three Others Earn All-Region Accolades

Carnegie Mellon University women’s soccer senior Savina Reid (Briarcliff Manor, N.Y./Briarcliff) was honored by the nation’s coaches as an NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division III All-American for her outstanding play this season in leading the Tartans to a 16-2-1 record and two wins in the NCAA tournament. Reid garnered second-team honors and was also named to the Great Lakes All-Region team along with three teammates.
Tartans Close Season in NCAA Round of 16

The Carnegie Mellon University women's soccer team, ranked sixth nationally, matched up 20th-ranked Johns Hopkins University in the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Championship Round of 16 on Saturday, November 22, tying the Blue Jays and eventually falling in a penalty kick shootout, 4-3. The Tartans finish the year with their third consecutive trip to the NCAA tournament and a record of 16-2-1.
Bartoshuk Named UAA Athlete of the Week

Sophomore Megan Bartoshuk (Redwood City, Calif./Sequoia) of the Carnegie Mellon University women’s soccer team was named Offensive Athlete of the Week by the University Athletic Association (UAA) for her performance in leading the Tartans to the round of 16 of the NCAA Championship for the second time in school history.
OT Win Sends Tartans to NCAA Third Round

Sophomore Megan Bartoshuk's (Redwood City, Calif./Sequoia) goal one minute and thirty-four seconds into overtime propelled the sixth-ranked Carnegie Mellon University women's soccer team to a 2-1 victory over Catholic University in the second round of the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Championship. The Tartans improved to 16-2 on the year as Catholic finished with a 16-2-3 record.

Joining Iatarola with UAA honors are six other Tartans.
