Wang Named UAA Women’s Swimmer of the Week

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Carnegie Mellon University women's swimming freshman Bonnie Wang (Vancouver, BC / Collingwood School) was named the University Athletic Association (UAA) Women's Swimming Athlete of the Week.

Wang earned two NCAA B Cuts at the West Virginia University Invitational. Her time of 56.44 in the 100-yard backstroke is fourth in the nation and first in the UAA while her time of 2:03.00 in the 200-yard backstroke is seventh best in the nation and second in the UAA.

The swimming and diving team will be back in action in January at the SWFC Meet during the team's training trip to Florida.
