Wang Named UAA Women's Swimmer of the Week for Second Time

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) - Carnegie Mellon University junior Bonnie Wang was named the University Athletic Association (UAA) Women's Swimmer of the Week for her performance at the Kenyon College Total Performance Invitational. Wang receives the recognition for the second time this season.

Wang helped the Tartans to a third-place finish at the Kenyon College Total Performance Invitational with two NCAA B Cut times which put her eighth in the nation in both events. The junior placed third in the 200-yard backstroke in 2:03.14 and fourth in the 100-yard backstroke in 56.26.

Wang also helped the 200-yard freestyle relay finish fifth in 1:36.71, the 400-yard medley relay place sixth in 3:54.54 and the 200-yard medley relay place fifth in 1:46.91.
