    Play continued on Friday for four members of the Carnegie Mellon University women's tennis team at the 2019 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Oracle Cup. The event is being played at the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College in Rome, Georgia.

    The Carnegie Mellon University women's tennis team hosted Case Western Reserve University and Christopher Newport University on Saturday, October 5, blanking both teams for a pair of wins. The Tartans first topped CWRU, 5-0, before closing out Christopher Newport, 9-0.

    Carnegie Mellon University women’s tennis sophomore Danna Taylor (Orlando, Fla. / Circle Christian School) and senior Courtney Ollis (Suffern, N.Y. / Suffern) were named University Athletic Association (UAA) Women’s Tennis Athletes of the Week for earning championship titles at the ITA Southeast Regional Tournament.

    The Carnegie Mellon University women's tennis team traveled to Western New York for two matches against Division I opponents. The Tartans first faced the University of Buffalo and fell 4-3 before topping Niagara, 7-0.
  • Ollis and Taylor Claim ITA Southeast Doubles Championship

    Carnegie Mellon University tandem of senior Courtney Ollis (Suffern, N.Y. / Suffern) and sophomore Danna Taylor (Orlando, Fla. / Circle Christian School) claimed the ITA Southeast Regional Doubles Championship on Wednesday. The match was played on the campus of Carnegie Mellon University following play over the weekend on the campus of University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
  • Taylor Repeats as ITA Southeast Singles Champion

    Carnegie Mellon University women’s tennis sophomore Danna Taylor (Orlando, Fla. / Circle Christian School) repeated as the ITA Southeast Regional Singles Champion on Monday, September 23 and will once again play for the doubles championship later this week.
  • Tartans Success Continues at ITA Southeast Regional

    For the third straight year, the Carnegie Mellon University women's tennis team will have an ITA Southeast Regional Doubles Champion. On Sunday afternoon, the Cardinal and Gray had two pairs of teammates advanced to the championship final to be played Monday. The Tartans also had three advance to the semifinals of singles.

    Carnegie Mellon University sophomore Lindy Cornwall (Poway, Calif. / Poway) was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Women’s Tennis Athlete of the Week for her performance over the weekend at the Kenyon College Invitational. It marks the second straight week that a Tartans earned the honor.
