Tartans Compete at Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic

(LEWISBURG, Pa.) – The Carnegie Mellon University women's track and field team had three runners compete at the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic over the weekend in a field comprised of Division I, II and III institutions.

Graduate student Michelle Murray (Greenlawn, N.Y. / Harborfields) ran the 10,000-meter race and was the sixth Division III runner to finish, as she crossed with a time of 37:33.64.

A personal-best time was turned in by senior Kristen Seballos (Cleveland, Ohio / Padua Franciscan) in the 5,000-meter run. The senior had a time of 17:21.71 and placed fourth among Division III runners.

Senior Taylor Jacobs (Bozeman, Mont./ The Taft School) ran in the 800-meter race and crossed with a time of 2:19.48.

The Tartans will next compete at the University Athletic Association Outdoor Championships on April 23-24 at Washington University in St. Louis.
