Tartans Compete in Brown Race at Paul Short Invitational

(BETHLEHEM, Pa.) - The Carnegie Mellon University women's cross country team, ranked 20th in Division III, placed 22nd overall at the Lehigh University Paul Short Invitational on Friday. The women raced against 46 teams in the brown race in a field of Division I, II and III runners.

Results:

  • Senior Mona Yuan led the Tartans with a time of 22:25.0.
  • The second Tartan to cross was sophomore Alyssa Hoffman in 22:46.9
  • Graduate student Kristen Seballos followed Hoffman for the Cardinal and Gray as she posted a time of 23:00.9.
  • Sophomore Lauryn McKenna and freshman Orit Shiang ended with times of 23:07.4 and 23:13.6, respectively, to close the scoring for the Tartans.
