First Year

Introduction 

Welcome to the first year strength program. This webpage contains the material you will need to begin training. Continue reading for a general overview of the program, then download this document for detailed explanations. The document will serve as your primary resource while this page houses exercise video playlists and a progress checklist.

Videos are located below, and are organized around the training of 6 components—four primary and two auxiliary—as depicted in the following graphic.

 
 

Beneath the videos is the Master Checklist for you to record your progress as you meet the standard for each exercise. The complete testing and training protocol is detailed in the document but the checklist can be saved and printed from this page. Be prepared to hand it in upon your arrival this fall to give us an idea of your current level of preparedness and to allow us to individualize your training program.
