Folker Named UAA Athlete of the Week

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Senior Jason Folker (Lake Forest, Ill./Lake Forest) of the Carnegie Mellon University men's golf team was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Men's Golf Athlete of the Week following his performance at the Hershey Cup.

Folker placed fourth individually in a field of 89 golfers for the 36-hole tournament with a score of 144. He started play on Sunday with a 74 and followed with a round of even par 70 to close play on Monday. His round of even par marked his fifth this season of carding par or under.

Through 20 rounds this season he is averaging 75.2 per round.
