(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) - The Carnegie Mellon University men's cross country team placed first at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational at Schenley Park in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Saturday morning. The Tartans scored 41 points and finished second in the 8k course.

Results:

  • In his second time running the 8k course for the Carnegie Mellon Invitational, sophomore Thomas Damiani finished first for the Tartans, sixth overall in 25:49.70.
  • Sophomore Kenji Tella finished seventh with a time of 25:51.30, beating his time from last year on the same course.
  • In his first Carnegie Mellon Invitational, freshmen Nathan Massie finished eighth overall with 26:14.30.
  • Junior Seth Williams finished ninth with 26.16.60.
  • Freshman Ryan Wahler finished 11th at 26:26.90.
  • Junior Yonah Goldberg finished 14th in 26:36.80, a new meet record for him.
  • In his first career race, freshman Angelo Parrino finished 15th with a time of 26:39.70.
