Tartans in Second Heading into Final Round of the Golfweek DIII Fall Invite
(MIRAMAR BEACH, Fla) - The Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team continued play at the 2023 Golfweek DIII Fall Invitational in Miramar Beach, Florida, on Monday. The Tartans carded a 296 for round two and have a 36-hole score of 605 (309-296) which places them second in the three-day, 54-hole tournament out of 24 teams.

How it Happened:
- Freshman Nikita Jadhav recorded the Tartans lowest round on Monday when she entered the clubhouse with a one-over par 73 and has a 150 (77-73).
- Junior Kaylin Yeoh recorded her second straight round of three-over par 75 and has a 36-hole score of 150 (75-75).
- Yeoh and Nikita are tied for 15th individually in a field of 120 golfers.
- Junior Sriya Mupparaju improved four strokes from her opening round score to fire a two-over par 74 on Monday and has a 152 (78-74).
- Sitting a stroke back of Mupparaju heading into play on Tuesday, is senior Alexis Sudjianto who also carded a two-over par 74 in round two. Sudjianto improved five strokes and has a 153 (79-74) over the first 36 holes.
- Freshman Samantha Wang shot a 77 on Monday.
