Divers Compete at NCAA Regionals

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) - The Carnegie Mellon University women's diving team competed at the NCAA Region 4 Diving Championships on Friday, March 1 and Saturday, March 2.

Top performances:

  • On the 1-meter springboard, junior Kyndall Tatum placed 14th with a score of 380.75. Her top-scoring dives were 5132d (forward 1.5 somersaults with a full twist) and 403c (inward 1.5 somersaults tuck), both earning 39.6 points.
  • Tatum also placed 16th on the 3-meter springboard with a score of 364.80 points.
  • Freshman Cat Bryan placed fifth on the 3-meter springboard with a score of 425.80. Her top-scoring dive was 105b (front 2.5 somersaults tuck) earning 6.5s and 7s from the judges for a total of 50.4 points.  
  • Bryan also earned a score of 350.55 on the 1-meter board.
