Jacob Schofel - Men's Track and Field

Junior Jacob Schofel of the Carnegie Mellon University men's track and field team turned in two top finishes at the CMU Mini Invitational on Saturday, March 25, as the Tartans claimed the team title. Schofel won the hammer throw and discus with two career-best tosses. His mark of 53.84 meters in the hammer is currently tops in the UAA and ranks fifth nationally while his 42.63-meter throw in the discus is also tops in the UAA.
