Tartans Place 15 on Winter Academic All-District Teams

(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) – Fifteen Carnegie Mellon University student-athletes were named to a College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team for Division III, nominated by members of CSC, for the winter season. College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) rebranded to CSC in the summer of 2022.

The Academic All-District Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Athletes honored were selected by their school's Sports Information Directors and must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and have achieved at least sophomore academic and athletic standing.

Academic All‐District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All‐America ballot. First‐ and second‐team Academic All‐America honorees will be announced in December, following a vote by CSC's membership, which is comprised of more than 3,000 sports information and athletic communication professionals throughout the United States and Canada.
